Description
Honeywell DKG 972-N Mod.21 is a microprocessor-based burner control unit designed to control and supervise two-stage atmospheric gas burners. It manages the burner start-up sequence, monitors flame presence and provides lockout and fault indication when an unsafe operating condition occurs.
The unit operates on a 220/240 V, 50/60 Hz supply and is designed for two-stage atmospheric gas burners. Flame monitoring can be performed using an ionization probe, IRD 1020.1 infrared flame detector or UVD971 ultraviolet flame sensor.
For the Mod.21 version, the waiting time is 12 seconds, pre-ignition time is 3 seconds, stray-light monitoring time is 5 seconds, safety time is 10 seconds, post-ignition time is 8.8 seconds and the delay to the second stage is 25 seconds.
The microprocessor-controlled sequence provides stable timing, while the LED information system and non-volatile memory help monitor burner operation and identify fault conditions. The DKG 972-N series is tested according to EN 298 requirements.
