Description
MANNOL Extreme 5W-40 is a premium fully synthetic ester-containing motor oil developed for modern gasoline and diesel engines with or without turbocharging, including older engines and vehicles with high mileage.
Its ester technology and synthetic base provide a wide viscosity-temperature operating range, supporting effective engine protection during cold starts, city driving, highway operation, high loads and high ambient temperatures. The oil is also suitable for demanding driving conditions such as off-road driving, uphill driving, towing and maximum vehicle loads.
The high TBN reserve helps maintain oil performance when using variable-quality fuel containing up to 500 ppm sulfur. Ester components create a strong oil film that provides effective anti-wear and anti-friction protection while maintaining good oil pumpability.
Excellent detergent-dispersant properties and high thermal-oxidation stability help control deposits and keep engine components clean throughout the oil-change interval. The oil is suitable for both standard and Long Life oil-change intervals.
MANNOL Extreme 5W-40 is designed for gasoline and diesel engines in passenger cars, light SUVs, minibuses and light commercial vehicles from European and other manufacturers. It is also suitable for 4T motorcycle engines with wet clutches. It is not intended for heavy-duty trucks or similar heavy equipment.
